Surrounded by beautiful scenery and activities, you won’t be short of things to see and do during your escape to Whananaki Holiday Park. Whether it be relaxing on Northland beaches, kayaking on the estuary, hiking the nearby scenic tracks or, fishing for your next big catch, there is something for everyone. The local Whananaki Beach store is conveniently situated right next door, with all the supplies you need for your holiday, including takeaways, fishing supplies and dive fills and Gas Bottle Swap. There is also a boat ramp just 400 metres along the road from the camp.

Who can say no to a holiday with your favourite companion? We welcome your dog, horse, budgie or other special pet to our pet friendly holiday park. Phone for conditions and off peak season apply. Whananaki is an idyllic location with many beach walks and an inlet to explore right beside the camp. A long unpopulated ocean beach is a pleasant walk across the longest footbridge in the southern hemisphere, or a wade across the channel at low tide on foot or horseback. Kayaks available for hire. Other pursuits that can be enjoyed in an around Whananaki are Tramping/Hiking, Boating & Fishing, Bird Watching, Scuba Diving, snorkling, surfing & Kiting. Also there are some wonderful photography opportunities with so much natural beauty from lush paddocks, indigenous forests to pristine beaches and islands.
