Mawley Holiday Park is the perfect base from which to explore everything Masterton and the beautiful Wairarapa has to offer. We have a range of quality accommodation including self-contained units, cabins, powered and unpowered sites.

Our self-contained units give you space and comfort without breaking the bank. Features include two bedrooms (one with a queen bed, the other with a set of bunks), an open plan lounge/kitchen area with a double sofa bed, dining table, fridge, cooking hob, crockery and utensils, microwave, sink, tea and coffee making facilities, TV and a bathroom with shower, toilet, vanity, and hairdryer). All linen and bedding is provided, and there’s a heat pump to keep you toasty warm on chilly nights or cool you down on hot summer evenings. The ensuite bathroom contains a shower, sink, hairdryer, toilet and vanity. Our units comfortably fit 6 people.

The Park is nestled in a sheltered, peaceful setting on the banks of the Waipoua River. Our established grounds include open spaces, stunning specimen trees, a children’s playground and BBQ area.

Pets may be brought to the park by arrangement – only on the sites, NOT in cabins or units.

Located 65km northeast of Masterton. Situated on safe, sandy beach. All tide swimming & surfing. Rock & boat fishing. Motels are across road from beach with great views of the Bay & Lighthouse. 3 km to 9-hole golf course. Caravan/boat storage. School groups welcome.

Pets allowed by arrangement, when camping during off peak season, 1st April – 1st December (Excluding long weekends).

68 km east of Dannevirke (or about the same distance from Waipukurau) is ‘wide open space’ camping with some hedges and trees to shelter the sites. 18 powered sites are available with plenty of space for tents. At the country pub opposite you can get a take away or enjoy a beer in the garden. There is a basic kitchen for campers, with plenty of fridge space. The spacious metered showers are comfortable and a spacious new paraplegic/family bathroom has been built. The laundry has automatic equipment and a freezer. The beach is five minutes away and it’s an easy 45 minute walk to Cape Turnagain. There are tennis courts at ‘Wimbledon’ and a 9-hole golf course is next to the camp.
