Nestled 2.5km from the picturesque town of Hanmer Springs and their renowned thermal pools, the Forest Camp offers our guests a chance to cozy up in our comfortable corner of the forest, framed by mountains, and bordered by biking and walking tracks. Our mission is to provide affordable and accessible accommodation, allowing everyone the opportunity to get away for a holiday in a peaceful, relaxed environment. We are a family friendly, smoke & pet free camp, with a minimum age of 21 and a noise curfew between 10pm – 7am, so all of our guests can get a good rest and enjoy the tranquility of our surroundings.
The Camp has a range of accommodation options which can cater for a variety of needs, and our full camp booking option can host up to 280 persons.
We boast 2 self-contained units with disabled access facilities; 24 family and bunk cabins; 21 historic Twin forestry Huts and 3 Double Forestry Huts; 33 spacious non-powered tent and campervan sites; and a 5-bedroom self-contained lodge with disabled access facilities available (only available for schools and groups).
Camp amenities include 4 kitchen/dining areas all fully stocked with cooking equipment and TV lounge, brand new toilet/shower facilities with underfloor heating, token operated laundry, large playground and outdoor areas, free Wi-Fi, bedding hire, barbecues, and off-street coach, bus and car parking. An ideal place for families, school camps and groups.
