A small family camp in a unique & stunning location, 35km from Napier. Fantastic views, 3min walk to sandy surf beach popular for swimming, surfcasting & diving. Abundant bird life, great bush/coastal walking tracks nearby. Easy drive to other DOC tracks. Turn off SH2 into Tangoio Road then Waipatiki Road.

Park Information

Accommodation includes cabins and powered or non-powered camping sites with facilities that cater for up to 150 people. That makes us a popular choice for as a beach wedding venue or for a school camp.

We offer:

a communal kitchen with hot plates, oven, microwaves, toasters/kettles, fridges and freezer (ice available)
a lounge room (we don’t have a TV as part of our quiet and secluded style)
recently renovated toilets and hot showers which are coin operated @$1 for 6 minutes
a laundry with washing machines and dryer
child-friendly activities including a large playing field, small fun farm animals including chickens and a friendly goat. There is also a fresh water stream on the property which is great and safe for youngsters.
